Thanks to amazing advances in technology, radiology and medical imaging are a more integral part of diagnosing and treating medical conditions than ever. You’ll find much of the latest equipment, plus ‘round-the-clock availability, at Inter-Lakes Health and Moses Ludington Hospital.
Inter-Lakes Health’s Medical Imaging Department is dedicated to providing excellent patient care by maintaining the highest quality standards in imaging. One of the ways we do that is through teleradiology, which means that radiologists are available 24/7 to read digital images – a key service when moments can save lives.
This is made possible with technology, which allows our technologists to digitally transmit X-rays through a virtual private network – a secure computer connection – to board-certified radiologists in the Albany area.
Our technologists are certified in mammography and ultrasound. We also offer computed radiography, laser imaging and digital archives.
