Welcome to Inter-Lakes Health’s Physical Therapy Department. Our skilled, licensed medical professionals – key members of your health care team – deliver comprehensive, quality care designed to return you to optimal health after injury. We also treat people with neurological deficits, such as those that can occur in stroke patients.
We work with patients with a broad range of conditions, including the following:

The focus of physical therapy is on basic gross mobility skills such as getting out of bed, walking safely with crutches or a walker, moving specific joints and strengthening specific muscles of the body.
When you choose Inter-Lakes Health’s physical therapists, you will receive a thorough evaluation. Our staff will assess the information, consult with your doctor, and develop an individualized treatment plan – just for you. 
Treatment may include exercises designed to improve range of motion, mobility, coordination, balance, and strength. In addition, heat, cold, splints, electrical stimulation and/or ultrasound may be used. We work with you to restore movement and function, relieve pain, and prevent illness and injury. Our goal is to return you to the highest level of function possible.
Our principles of treatment include pain reduction, neurological rehabilitation, improved range of motion, and increased strength. We work to help each person reach full potential.
