NY Health Benefit Exchange

The New York Health Benefit Exchange is where individuals and families will shop for, compare and buy health insurance coverage. It's the only place to get financial assistance to reduce the cost of coverage.

To shop in the Exchange:

You must live in New York
You must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawfully present immigrant

Health insurance available on the Exchange will include a comprehensive set of benefits.

Preventive services will be offered at no cost to you

You pick the plan that is best for you. Compare your plan choices based on price, provider network or quality score.

If you earn less than $45,960 as an individual or $94,200 for a family of 4, you may be eligible for financial assistance that will make health insurance coverage more affordable.

You will not be denied health insurance on the basis of a pre-existing or chronic condition.

Experts will be available to guide you through the enrollment process, help you find the right health insurance for your needs and help you figure out if you can get financial assistance to reduce the cost of coverage.
